Austin's Senior Support

In-home senior support, Vancouver

Kind, caring help, right at home.

I help older adults feel at ease, whether that's making sense of a new phone, staying safe from scams, or simply sharing a good story over a cup of tea. I come to you, I take my time, and I treat you like family. And through the SoulSeen Network, I can bring in trusted help for whatever else life brings.

Serving Vancouver and nearby communities

What I do

How I can help

I'm probably best known for making technology simple, but what I love most is being someone you can count on, for a tech question, a helping hand, or good company.

Tech help and lessons

Phones, tablets, computers, TVs, smart devices, the works. I explain things simply and fix them patiently, and you never have to feel rushed or silly for asking.

  • One-on-one, at your own pace
  • Spotting and avoiding scams
  • Email, video calls, and streaming

New device setup

Got something new? I'll come over, unbox it, set everything up, and stay until you feel comfortable using it on your own.

  • Unboxing and full setup
  • Accounts and passwords, organized
  • Friendly, hands-on training

Errands and everyday help

Groceries, the pharmacy, appointments, a bit of paperwork, or small tasks around the house. I'm glad to lend a hand so life feels a little lighter.

  • Groceries and pharmacy runs
  • Appointments and paperwork
  • Around-the-house help

Companionship and activities

Some of my favorite time is spent simply being with people. A friendly visit, a real conversation, a game, a walk, or a favorite activity together.

  • Regular friendly visits
  • Games, activities, and hobbies
  • A warm, familiar face

Senior tech support

Confident with your devices, safe from scams

Technology should make life easier, not stressful. From your phone or tablet to email, photos, and video calls with the grandkids, I'll help you feel comfortable and in control, never overwhelmed or talked down to. We take it slow, and if something needs explaining twice, that's completely fine by me.

One-on-one lessons

Just the two of us, working through whatever you'd like to learn.

Small group classes

I teach a small, friendly group at a community center or a host's home.

Help by phone or video

Quick questions answered over the phone or a video call, no visit needed.

What we can cover

  • Smartphones, tablets, and computers
  • Video calls with family and grandchildren
  • Email, texting, and sharing photos
  • Wi-Fi, TVs, and streaming
  • Passwords and accounts, kept simple

Staying safe from scams and fraud

A calm, practical walkthrough of how to recognize and avoid the scams that target older adults.

  • Spot phishing texts, emails, and fake tech-support calls
  • Recognize grandparent, romance, and prize scams
  • Shop and bank online safely
  • Block robocalls and junk messages
  • Know what to do if you think you've been targeted

About

Hi, I'm Austin.

I'm a Vancouver native, and honestly, seniors have always been my favorite people. Wherever I go, I seem to get adopted by them, whether I'm leading activities as the Life Enhancement Specialist at Highgate Senior Living (where I still volunteer every week) or just swapping stories with folks on a family cruise. I got my start in emergency services, and over 10 years helping people with technology at AT&T and Geek Squad taught me how to make even the most confusing device feel simple and stress-free. But what matters most to me is the person in front of me. I lead with honesty, patience, and real compassion, and I treat everyone I help the way I'd treat my own family.

The SoulSeen Network

You are never figuring it out alone

I'm a founding member of the SoulSeen Network, and the person you'll meet for anything technology related. Alongside me is a trusted group of independent concierge and care professionals, each with their own strengths, so whatever your family is facing, you'll be matched with the right person. I'm always glad to make the introduction.

It started with three of us, coworkers from senior living. We kept seeing the same thing: families needed more than a facility could offer. So we built it.

Today, one call can connect you to:
